Royal Taxi drivers are highly skilled and dedicated drivers who are committed to providing excellent service in a most safe and efficient manner. To join the Royal Taxi team, drivers must complete an intense multi-day course which focuses on customer service, safety and includes defensive driving. This training is supplemented with periodic refresher training.
At Royal Taxi, we understand and take the responsibility of transporting passengers requiring accessible vehicles with the utmost care. Royal Taxi drivers, who operate accessible vehicles, must complete additional training requirements. This training includes drivers acquiring certification in securement equipment used to lockdown wheelchairs and other mobility devices to ensure safe transportation of the passenger and their devices. Additionally, the training results in raised sensitivity in our Royal Taxi drivers in meeting the needs of passengers requiring accessible vehicles.
